What are powerlifting meets?
Powerlifting meets are sanctioned competitions where lifters attempt their heaviest squat, bench press, and deadlift for a recorded total. Iron Avatar tracks thousands of meets across the country, from local sanctioned events to state championships, and refreshes the calendar as federations publish their schedules.
How to use the filters
Narrow by federation, state, month, or year. Enable location to sort by distance and find meets within a drive. Every listing links to the official registration page, and once results are published we import the totals so you can see how each meet played out.
Planning your first meet
New lifters usually aim for a local sanctioned meet eight to twelve weeks out. That's enough runway to pick openers and practice commands. Experienced competitors plan a full year around a qualifier, a regional, and a national.
Results & records
Whether you're looking for your first platform or chasing a pro total, every meet on Iron Avatar lives below. After a meet wraps, results are imported automatically so you can review totals, compare performances, and track your competitive history.
